OxyContin, has fueled the need to address an epidemic of addiction and overdose
linked to the legal drugs and their illegal cousin, heroin.
The misuse of prescription opioids such as

linked with that of street drugs such as heroin.
Such questions were raised recently in connection with reports
linking the Sackler family, prominent cultural donors, to the company that produces
OxyContin, the powerful painkiller that has been involved in opioid overdoses.
