to our game, Walcot some more and Giroud if needed...

to do NOW is
bring Henry
to assist him and do the job, boost, get players focused with winning spirit he has in him... Then wenger can sit all season long, bench himself as he does and watch henry do the running and screaming as other manager dio... Then we will be in top 3, meaning third; there's now way
to ctach up the Manchesters and if we do nt wake up now, we will fight for fourth place; the spurs will distance us and fight for second or third.

team.
ozil in another
team with good runners and commitment will thrive, not all this side ways passing and sticking him

It's difficult
to blame
Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied
to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately
to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl
to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield
to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence
to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back
to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one
to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes
to transitional passing... instead of blaming
Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they
brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary
to get the best from him... can you imagine
Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly
to watch and even more difficult
to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German
team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

to play out of their skins which has hardly been the case all season and kos will need
to show leadership skills but if wilshere
ozil and aubemayang click there could at least be a forward threat... An honest assessment 3 1»
to them
Not subbing right away
to bring on fresh legs Not putting Gabriel on for Kos Putting on
Ozil who never defends well Not telling his
team to defend and ride out the game — nobody expected us
to win 6 - 1 after the unfair penalty and red card — allowing 4 more goals was unacceptable and showed stupidity IMO.
I hope he
brings Bellerin and Gibbs back if they are fit.People seem
to forget how consistent Gibbs has been over the past years.Injuries have halted his abilities a lot. When he was young i thought he was gonna be world class.Monreal inform ai nt better than Gibbs inform.Debuchy has not won the battle yet
to start at right back hence he should come back.Gabriel should have started over Per from day one but for language barrier. Also Ramsey Cazorla and
Ozil should not be playing in the same
team.
wilshire is just not worth his wages thats why hes paid 80k a week, and thats too much along with most of the
team IE iwoi,
Ozil and laCassette all these should have a sliding sscale wage structure, If you play and score yu get your money plus a bonus If yu play like Arsenal do I'd pay them zero and fine them
to boot We are too soft if they e \ were out in the real world and performed like that they;d be sacked this has goota stop and one way would be for the FA
to bring in a max on wages and a sliding scale for footballers Maybe then theyd start playing for their dinner and not just pick their noses

Ozil is a luxury that Arsenal really can't afford. The only time he tends
to shine is when the whole
team is playing
to the best of their ability... which is... as we know... not often enough. This being the case it would benefit the
team to sell him
to Barcelona for the reported # 50million and
bring someone else in instead.Such a player would undoubtedly have less talent but in all liklihood would be able
to perform on a more consistent basis.
There has already been a lot of debate about how much the Spaniard
brings to the table for Arsenal and how much his absence has hurt the
team and their efforts
to claim a major trophy like the EPL title but another question connected with that is how much losing Cazorla affects the other main creative star in our side, Mesut
Ozil.
We are a passing
team and with
Ozil Santi in the middle, we are more than capable of
bringing the ball out from the back instead of lumping upfront
to a ponderous target man!
Cazorla, willshire, ox, ramsey have all seemed
to have spent more time in the treatment room over the years so yes please mr wenger... ship out the casualties and
bring in cavarlho before newcastle of all
teams nab him and isco for when
ozil is sold.
Captained England U20s and is one
to bring closer into the first -
team fold next season — but his claims that
Ozil is his «role model» are a concern.
There is nothing strange about that but what has struck me is that the words we sing, «we've got
Ozil, Mesut
Ozil, I just don't think you understand» are quite ironic, because I think that a lot of Arsenal fans and members of the football media just do not understand
Ozil and what he
brings to the
team.
Giroud just is not good enough and thats the facts here, we would have been three goals up with a real world class striker, regardless of
Ozil and sanchez current form if we had
brought in a real DM player then we'd have won points at other games and this would be just a blip,
teams do loose games and they do have off days, the real problem lays in the fact that Wenger has no real top notch choices
to mix and match with is he has slumps with his current squad.
We have new players coming in Sanchez, Welbeck, Debuchy, Chambers — all need time

Next week
to Chelsea game Arsenal need
to put Danny welbeck in the side against Chelsea which is where they fail
to have exceptional pace that arsenal possess
to fight the threat of hazard and Willian, other than that Fabregas will do whatever he can in his power
to muster up a goal so therefore cazorla maybe sacrifices for Ramsey and
Ozil which will
bring a quick
team to boot.
i do nt think
ozil will ever be appreciated by the majority because they clearly just do nt understand what he
brings to the
team and wenger will ruin him playing on the wing and he will eventually be called a flop
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that
Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but
to be considered the best you have
to bring more than just assists
to the table... for me, a top player has
to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need
to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability
to take their game
to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him
to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed
to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important
to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant
teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an
Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances
to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off
Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came
to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned
to the field... overall the
Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National
team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal...
to me that goes directly
to this club's inability
to surround him with the necessary players
to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both
Ozil and our management
team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance
to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than
Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
And for
Ozil, that guy will always look less convincing until Wenger build the
team around him efficiently
to bring out the best in him (only God knows how it is so hard for wenger
to do so, when he repeatedly did for Henry, Fabregas and Van Persie)... Get this guy (
Ozil) proper wingers, e.g Ronaldo and Sanchez because that's what he thrives on.
tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day
to day
to the last syllable of endless gallic bullshit....4 th place junkies wetting themselves over 3rd place finish should realise that other
teams will be strengthening in summer definitely the others in top 4 and always a surprise or two outside... wenger has f @@@@@ us over for ten years now selling top players and
bringing in a string of jokers... yes that changed with
ozil and sanchez... but giroud coquelin and monreal while all decent and can help us
to another 4th place but not beyond that (coquelin could still be a top class player but ai nt there yet) walcott and podolski will never deliver and merteshaker would not be in any other top 15
team in europe... so the idea that the squad is on the cusp of greatness is moronic and confirmed by end of season performance... we need four quality signings but i would settle for two (attacker plus DM) and an upgrade (left back)..
Iwobi is the playmaker in the
team with
Ozil going forward and he
brings balance and control
to our play.
Finally, if Wenger really cares that Arsenal go
to the next level with Lacazette in the striker's role he will need
to surround him with the proper kinds of players, those who compliment his skills and give him a legitimate chance
to lead the line... if they can spread the opposing
teams back line with Sanchez on the left and someone of consequence on the right (must purchase this individual), this would likely create some space for
Ozil in the middle of the pitch... having 3 players who can not only create their own opportunities, but provide assists and make well - timed runs, could
bring some much - needed directness back into our ticky - tack approach of late... unfortunately instead of making the tough decisions and spending the supporters money in the right places, we instead have wasted so much time bashing our heads against the same brick wall over and over again and expecting different results..
This is a side that
brings the two best playmakers in the
team Carzola and
Ozil to share the CAM role.
A lot of that came from how he plays, or appears
to stroll around the pitch, and I have written plenty of articles defending
Ozil and pointing out the things he does
bring to the
team and do well.
players like
Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like
Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed
to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough
to keep them squarely in the mix, as their respective
teams try desperately
to find a way
to get the best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according
to planned the fans usually find a way
to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike... in the case of
Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former
teams led many
to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely
bring the best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose
to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt
to absolve
Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming,
to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes
to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him
to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided
Ozil with great service and more freedom
to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember
to be considered a world - class set - up man goals need
to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem
to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed
to make those moves that could have
brought championship football back
to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick
to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player
to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly
to blame for our current woes
In order
to have a
team that can play as
Ozil forward is by making the first 20 minutes into a high tempo score the goal and then
bring the opponent out.
If Arsenal or specifically Arsene is reluctant
to bring Top quality players then I will not surprise If
Ozil and Alexis ask
to leave for
team which shows it... Buying decent cheap players
to fill the gaps WE BADLY need are not th answer for those top players.
I for one think he has got the right attitude and abilities
to really thrive at the Emirates and we have heard a lot of praise coming from the likes of Mesut
Ozil and Santi Cazorla for what he
brings to the
team.
Yes
Ozil did all that, but he is
brought in
team cuz of that, his only skill is
to make assists, while Sanchez work hard and loses his energy for stupid chasses and than cant run counter attacks when needed, and i am not attacking only them, they are all weak and passionless, in order
to win they all need
to preform, Ramsey is so bad now its not even funny, our defence is probably best thing this season.
Time for some brutal honesty... this
team, as it stands, is in no better position
to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a
team that still has far more questions than answers...
to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried
to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want
to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem
to have a pretty good history when it comes
to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers
to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things
to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz
to the starting lineup due
to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition
to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB
to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need
to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need
to target a CDM then do whatever it takes
to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us
to become dominant again we need
to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper
to CB
to DM
to ACM
to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want
Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed
to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even
Ozil were allowed
to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time
to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just
to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye
to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need
to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had
to wait so many years
to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes
to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes
to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk
to be
brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went
to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest
to strikers who were clearly not going
to press their current
teams to let them go
to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants
to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due
to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately
to raise awareness for several years when cracks began
to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued
to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
I personally like
Ozil, the way he plays and what he
brings to the
team, but I can also understand why he gets the criticism he does, especially when you see what Alexis Sanchez has done and the effort he clearly makes on the pitch.
Wenger is turning into his old self ever since he
brought in
Ozil, already winning back
to back FA cups which no other
team has done and won most points this year of 2015.
Here is my list of players from the 29 that can be sold released or loan, which will
bring the over 21 year old first
team squad down
to just 21 players Szczesney Martinez Macey Debuchy Flamini Arteta Rosicky Sanogo This then gives us space for 4 new signings, personally I think that would be enough if we go with this squad for next season Cech ospina Huddart (under 21) Jenkinson Bellerin (u21) New signining, Mertesacker Koscielny Gabriel Monreal Gibbs New signing Coquelin chambers (u21) Elneny wilshire ramsey New Signing, walcott, chamberlain
Ozil, iwobi (u21) toral (u21) Alexis, Campbell, Wellington New signing, Welbeck, giroud
I'm just sad that the club couldn't build on Sanchez &
Ozil to bring together a world class
team.
Should stop worrying about left back and
bring in quality attacking option... If isco is available should get him Sanchez giroud / welbeck isco
ozil should be ok
to keep us there or thereabouts... With Campbell as back up... ox on loan Walcott sold
to some Middle East
team with more money than sense... Or test Bilbao on the Williams kid suspect they might take 25 even with his buy out clause upped... need something... We r 2 points above spurs right now with a much poorer goal difference
Now despite what you think of Mesut
Ozil, it's undoubted that without considering form,
Ozil is a top player who
brings a lot of quality
to the
team, he's a big name player.
