Note I do not consider PC and 360 to be different platforms as much as some would like to argue, Directx is Directx, and is what has stagnated PC development and hurt PC gaming, and why I'm not part of that circle anymore.
In all fairness, the frustration is completely understandable; this is simply misrepresentation at its core and getting fans all excited and giddy at the fancy visuals of a game while running on a powerful gaming PC, which, as you know, run circles around gaming consoles and then having said fans find out that it wasn't the console version is simply unacceptable.
