We don't know how much of EA's
PC gaming revenue comes from triple - A titles like the latest Crysis, for example, or how much casual and web - based titles contribute to the total.
While the PC Gaming Alliance had reported earlier this year that
PC gaming revenue was up for 2009, there hasn't been much more news from the organization.
Not exact matches
Tencent's mobile games business accounted for RMB 9.9 billion of
revenue in Q3 2016, that's up 87 percent annually and a large chunk of the RMB 18.2 billion that Tencent's total
gaming business —
PC and mobile — clocked in the quarter.
Despite this though,
PC gaming has seen steady growth despite negative predictions, raking in $ 20 billion in
revenue last year.
On the
PC gaming front,
revenue remained fairly flat year on year.
In 2016, Facebook's
revenues from
gaming were at its lowest since 2011, while Zynga's
PC revenues dropped more than 30 %.
Revenues for both
PC gaming segments are anticipated to drop slightly in the coming year.
PC browser
revenues have been decreasing since 2015 because of the transition of casual
gaming to mobile devices.
Mobile
gaming is still the biggest platform at 42 % of the market, and looks to be taking a bite out of the
PC space, with
PC revenues declining across browser games (down 9.3 %, as casual
PC gamers leave for mobile), and boxed / downloaded games (down 1.3 %).

According to research firm Superdata, Fortnite made $ 223 million across all available platforms in March alone, and included in that was the top spot in console
revenue and a fifth place in the
PC gaming ranks.
