If you use any diapers that require a cover then you will most likely be using
PUL covers over them.

They fit
over a very large overnight diaper and
over my pocket diapers (where the
PUL has worn out and leak without a
cover).
If your baby is an especially heavy wetter, you may want to apply a partial
PUL reinforcement panel to
cover the back stitching area before constructing the diaper or use diaper Seam Sealing Tape
over the stitched area to further seal the stitching holes.
Wool is my first choice
over hybrid fitteds since it allows the diaper to breathe much more than a
PUL cover would.
We did not use it as a diaper
cover, but
over a
PUL cover, usually with a onesie only snapped in the middle or just pulled far down, and my shockingly - heavy - wetting little baby needed that extra protection at night!

over time and the wipeable
PUL material is soft on the outside and waterproof on the inside, easy to clean, and stain resistant.

PUL, snaps, hook & loop, fold
over elastic (FOE), appliques, and instruction books on how to make cloth diapers,
covers, and accessories.
