I know Paleo people don't eat dairy but many people do include high quality sources on occasion so this is good option if you use organic cream cheese.
I'm not sure whether it's because of the popularity of Crossfit or whether people just find that they feel better cutting out grains, sugar and whatever else it is that Paleo people don't eat.
Paleo people did not have chocolate chips and processed cocoa and blanched almond flour and agave syrup and date sugar and other processed sweeteners, and on and on, the list is long.....

i wanted to comment and say peas of any kind is not allowed on the

Speaking of caffeine, while many
people on the
paleo diet start their days off with bulletproof coffee, I
do not.
I like Chris Kresser's approach to
paleo; there doesn't have to be any kind of
paleo law that dictates whether a
person is really

did a piece on Dr Oz about how legumes are okay if well tolerated.

I also thought it was important in my book «The Modern
Paleo Survival Guide» to incorporate detox, because many
people start a
Paleo diet and it doesn't reverse their disease or it doesn't make them feel as good as many of the books promised and it's because they're missing that really important piece of the puzzle, which is detoxing and not consuming foods that are toxic in our modern environment.
I think you miss my point: I don't think we should remind
people about
Paleo probabilities at all.

I don't think many
paleo practitioners have
done it (the 30 bananas a day
people don't count, though some of them report
doing fine), but I might try it at some point.
I
do not see how he can use this as a comparison when looking at
people who consume a «
paleo diet».
It's a little more restrictive than what I recommend, at least in the form some
people describe it, but unlike adherents other diets,
Paleo is not driven by any single
person's ideas, but rather by the body of science that describes what
people in the past have
done.
