Party engine, so it would be preferable to use one new modernized engine for the probable remakes.
Unfortunately the majority of decent
games that fit this description are first
party, there are a couple third
party ones (Rayman Legends for example), in most situations wherein there's a «best»
version of a mainly single player
game (or online being the main multiplayer focus) I'll go with the Playstation
version.
On a positive note, the amiibo mode may be a shallow
version of older Mario
Party games, but it's still the classic mechanics that everyone knows and loves.

version of the cult Japanese indie horror
game Corpse
Party [$ 17.99] on the App Store.

party games failed on Wii U. It's not Nintendo owners didn't want these
games, they just didn't want the inferior
versions and bought on another platform they owned.
The only way I see things turning around for them in terms of third -
party support is if all the top AAA
games releasing in Fall have a Nintendo switch
version.

party games were released months later on Gamecube after the other
versions came out.
You are all re-buying 4 year old
games at full price, buying the inferior
version of the newest Zelda just because it's on their newest console (also portability obviously but doesn't change the fact that it's the inferior
version), there is still almost no 3rd
party support anywhere to be seen, and yet in 2017 Nintendo can't even handle something as simple as voice chat on their newest console..
Increasing the resolution is one thing, and I agree the PS4 is more powerfull the the X1, so why not a higher revolution... but why should a 3rd
party developer put more effort on the PS4
version of a
game, like you said, with more stuff like on - screen effects, more animations, etc?
I have no need to fork over 500 just to play prettier
versions of 3rd
party games when they play the exact same on PS4 Pro, and I get great 1st
party to boot.
As Monster Hunter flagship
versions are no longer a certainty for the system (will probably get «Portable G» ports of
games), this is welcome to fill that guaranteed 3rd -
party million seller block.
But I bought all 3rd
party games for the PS4 because they were the best
version, that will stop with the X
version.
Agree Deus EX very strong reboot of a great 2 year old
game, but for my money AC4 is the best 3rd
party game on WiiU... it is technically nealry flawless... Better textures, lighting, effects, and framerate than ps360
versions, get this quick load times (I think the 1.1 gb update on first boot is a core component install), all extra functions like uplay, comapnion app, and online are working and its an awesome
game.
