As long as the blood sugar is maintained at a stable level by using
protein - rich sprouted foods in the juice, such as sunflower and
pea green sprouts, there
seem to be only beneficial results, once the people who should not fast at all are accounted for (unstable diabetics, people more than 10 lbs underweight, pregnant or nursing mothers and a few others that I mention in my book and other articles on fasting that have been published in UK health magazines).

pea starch, and other forms of
peas.
I find the
peas used as
protein / fiber to be a potential problem for some dogs but many dogs
seem to have no trouble eating foods using
peas in this way.
