app, which is essentially a screenshot that you can draw on and save.

pen creates a cursor on the
screen when the tip is hovered about an inch above the touchscreen (or closer) and a button on the
pen is used to activate the stylus in certain
apps.
This feature does not function 100 % perfectly all of the time; in the fraction of a second that my
pen lifts from the
screen, in some
apps, my palm might get picked up.
You don't have to engage a special menu or complicated per -
app pairing process to use Apple Pencil: Once you've paired it to your iPad or iPad Pro, you're ready to draw, write, sketch, or navigate in any
app you choose — just put the Pencil's
pen nib to the iPad's glass
screen and get to it!
