When
boarding small
pets, it is usual for the owner to bring their
pets» own cage, food and bedding, so the only
cost will be the employees» time needed to care for the boarders.
And make an impact they did — over the next decade, LifeLine successfully implemented a host of lifesaving resources and programs, including an online «shelter» for showcasing adoptable
pets; a volunteer - driven feral cat TNR (trap - neuter - release) program; a
boarding facility; a cat adoption center; a rehabilitation program for dogs with medical or behavioral issues, and two low -
cost spay and neuter clinics.
Funding mainly provides to help with
cost of temporary
pet boarding although other
costs such as urgent vet care can be considered.
Other resources included free or low -
cost training or behavior help (34 %), access to
pet - friendly housing (33 %), free or low -
cost spay / neuter services (30 %), free or low -
cost pet food (30 %), free or low -
cost temporary

boarding (30 %), and assistance in paying
pet deposits for housing (17 %).
The
cost to reserve any of these areas is $ 20.00 per day, per
pet family, in addition to our regular applicable
boarding charges.
