Just when you thought things couldn't get any better for
Phantasy Star Online 2's future, Sega surprises us even further, announcing that we'll be able to take the game with us on the go in
more ways than one.
For instance, the Sega Ages version of Sonic the Hedgehog will include the super-obscure Mega Play arcade version, and
Phantasy Star will add new difficulty settings, an updated save system, and
more.
Better still, for anyone needing a bit
more Inception in their lives, the Project Diva F video for «Online Game Addicts Sprechchor» has actually been aired on the giant screen in the main plaza inside of
Phantasy Star Online 2 (where the video itself is set) for all the players to see.
I may be one of the few who loves
Phantasy Star III
more than
Phantasy Star IV as a
Phantasy Star II's sequel.
Up until this point, the
Phantasy Star series focused less on generic video game tropes — woman kidnapped, man must rescue — and
more on original sci - fi plots.
Phantasy Star III initially follows a
more traditional fantasy plot, much to many fans» chagrin.
Had
Phantasy Star III received a few
more months development time, there's a chance many would consider it their favorite in the series.

more Ultima, Elder Scrolls, and Final Fantasy franchise games than you can shake an ancient console cartridge at.

What makes this all the
more remarkable is the fact that
Phantasy Star Online 2 itself was never released there, despite a localization being announced back in 2012.
It might be
more interesting to those who have played a
Phantasy Star game, especially PSO 2.
Featuring brilliant, colorful graphics that could be easily mistaken for those of
more advanced consoles and maze - like, first - person dungeons,
Phantasy Star would be a perfect fit for the 3DS remake line of 3D classics.
While the game was developed and released in 1993, this conflicted structure is reminiscent of earlier Megami Tensei and
Phantasy Star games in its merger of the challenge of the Wizardry with the
more unique character designs and streamlined combat systems of the Japanese developed RPGs.
Anything that gets the original
Phantasy Star into the hands of
more gamers is commendable in my book.
Game's like Virtua Fighter 4, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Super Monkey Ball, Shenmue 2, House of the Dead 3, Skies of Arcadia Legends, F - Zero GX,
Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, Otogi, Jet Set Radio Future and many
more were released and for me SEGA were still on top form.

Honestly this move makes me
more weary of Nintendo and actually makes me reconsider the idea of buying a Wii U. I know most people will post and say that I'm overreacting, saying not many people play DS titles online, but it sucks knowing that if we make a party on our forums to play
Phantasy Star Ø, as of May 20th, we won't be able to play online just because Nintendo decided they didn't want to support online services going on to the next generation.

more information regarding features for the upcoming Episode III update and
Phantasy Star Nova.
I don't believe sega is releasing these games on pc these will be
more than likely 90 % ps3 and 360 exclusive I don't recall sega ever releasing much of thier games on pc I know of
phantasy star online mmorpg's but if they do choose to put it on steam or another game distribution source pc players will have to wait probably a couple months to maybe a year to get these as these days pc games usually the triple A games like AC games and arkham city had to wait 1 - 3 months before they could play vs console gamers console players will always get the games first unless the game was meant for pc.
Yuki Naka, a mastermind behind multiple Sonic the Hedgehog titles,
Phantasy Star, Nights into Dreams and
more, has announced on his twitter today that he has officially joined the Square Enix team as of this month and will be working in game development.
While those of us in the west live in a cruel world with little to no
Phantasy Star love sent our way, Japan has
more to look forward to in November.

Phantasy Star festival» that will take place June 15th.
