The primary function of the Staff
Pharmacist (Behavioral Health / Pain) will be the interpretation and verification of physician's
orders, patient medication profile
review, and supervising the pharmacy technicians in the dispensing of appropriate medications.

review the prescription and the profile before you fill the medication in
order to minimize a potential medication error.
All prescription
orders prepared by a pharmacy technician are

pharmacist colleagues and other health care professionals (e.g., physicians, nurses, etc.) to maintain and advance clinical competencies (4) Supervise and provide oversight and direction of technicians» drug preparation and distribution activities to assure safe and expedient provision of pharmaceutical care to patients and staff.
