Just out of curiosity I checked into Las Vegas resort fees and was astonished at the utterly useless things they provide: shoe - shine service, free daily newspaper, free printing of boarding passes, free local and toll - free 800 calls (such a necessary service when I have my cell phone), gift shop discount, golf - bag storage, free sending and receiving faxes (capped at 10 per day), free notary service, free shuttle to shopping malls across the street, free entry into the daily slot tournament, and free use of ping - ping tables.
