Migdalia Valdes was recently chosen for the New Artist Award Group Show at the Center for Photographic Arts in Carmel, CA.

Flash was awarded an Art Matters grant, which allowed her to further two photographic series, [sur] passing and surmise, in Brazil and London.

Thulin has been the recipient of a variety of photographic prizes and awards including a 2001 TPI National Graduate Fellowship, a 2006 Virginia Commission for the Arts Artist Fellowship and the 2013 Conveyor Magazine Exhibition Grant.

To celebrate the career achievements of Elizabeth Peyton, Connecticut native and recipient of the 2006 Larry Aldrich Award, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum displays the first comprehensive exhibition of her photographic work through Nov. 16.
