Tomorrow I'm actually posting a recipe for
Picadillo so stay tuned!
The olives, raisins and capers that make
picadillo so magical (think sweet, salty, savory all at once) are added to the slow cooker an hour before the end of the cooking time but don't sweat it if you don't get them in there with exactly an hour to go.

I didn't grow up eating traditional sloppy joes as a kid, the closest thing that came to a Sloppy Joe in my house was
picadillo on a roll (which is quite good by the way)
so when I got a recipe request for a lighter Sloppy Joe, I had to do some research.
I'm not sure how authentic that is, but to be honest, I'm not sure what traditional
picadillo even tastes like,
so who cares?
Lentil Mango
Picadillo: Greek to me,
so it was renamed Latin - Spiced Mango Lentil Salad (kind of boring, though?)
This recipe is rather similar to a Puerto Rican
picadillo,
so substitute pork if you wish.
So, unless it is for a cheat meal, please be careful about putting
picadillo on rice, buns, or other unnatural foods.
This sounds very similar to
Picadillo, which I love,
so I know I would enjoy these wraps.
