Five - time nominee «Star Wars: The Force Awakens» missed out on a

But if Oscar voters do decide to honour the film and not the man, it could end up

nomination) conning everyone in her path, including a guileless bisexual (Ivan Sergei) and her gay half - brother Bill (Martin Donovan, Supporting Actor - worthy for sure), never registered
with them.
Last year, only six out of their top 10 earned Best
Picture nominations, seven
with their winner, Manchester by the Sea.

In the end, Alexander Payne's «Nebraska» was by far the MVP

Otherwise this must have a strong outside chance of a Best

«The Imitation Game» trails, only just,
with eight, and «Boyhood» walked away

picture, best director for Richard Linklater, and best supporting recognition for both Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette.
Director David O. Russell's comedy drama and Alfonso Cuarón space epic both received
nominations in the Best
Picture category, along
with nominations for their leading male and female performances.
