The 3DS game and Detective
Pikachu amiibo, which is bigger than the average figure in Nintendo's lineup, will release March 23.
You can view any Pika Prompts that you've encountered while playing the game by selecting the Pika Prompts option from the main menu, but by selecting the amiibo option on the main menu you'll be able to tap the Detective
Pikachu amiibo in order to unlock all the Pika Prompts from the chapters you have completed — even if you haven't seen them in - game!
If you tap the Detective
Pikachu amiibo after you've cleared the game's final chapter, then you'll also unlock all the Pika Prompts that aren't tied to a specific chapter.
Detective Pikachu on 3DS features amiibo support, but it's only compatible with the special Detective
Pikachu amiibo — the regular
Pikachu amiibo will not unlock anything, neither will any other Pokemon amiibo.
You can solve the case on March 23rd, with an enormous Detective
Pikachu amiibo by your side.
A special Detective
Pikachu amiibo is in the works, too.
The game, as well as an extra-large Detective
