Pilar beach should be a mandatory stop on any itinerary, as it would be deeply regretful to miss.
So I'm glad I read about Playa Pilar, or
Pilar Beach, before we went.
Day trips: We went horseback riding (only 10 pesos each) and snorkeling at
Pilar Beach (49 pesos each).

At the farthest tip of Cayo Guillermo is Playa
Pilar, which is a fantastic public
beach and a great little escape from resort life.
We didn't do any of the packaged excursions, but we did take the bus to Playa

beach that echoes the images of our greatest day dreams.
