I am constantly
planning or
shooting outfits or photos or posting something.
I honestly
planned on
shooting outfit photos while gone (especially in the city), but then I decided that I needed a little break!
I wasn't
planning to but when I was dressed ready to
shoot for today's
outfit post it struck me that something was missing...
Despite a streetstyle
shot looking all casual and coincidental, most of the time an
outfit requires two to five days of creation and advanced
planning in my dressing room with sometimes more and sometimes less losing my mind about it.
This is not the ultimate
outfit post even though the
plan indeed was to
shoot outfit pictures... but we got distracted by the green of the grass, and me jumping around — simply because it was fun.
I work as well, so making sure to
plan the
shoots, shop the looks and work out the
outfits was a priority.
My week -
planning became a month -
planning, my daily
outfit shoots became 4
shoots per day multiple times past week, and my fingers are slowly getting tired typing.
When
planning outfits for this particular setting I knew this leather skirt would be the perfect piece to
shoot.

Afterward, I met up with a client for a quick chat about a new dress she is
planning on wearing to an upcoming family event, before running home to meet up with Krystal to do some
outfit shooting.
I do spend quite a bit of time looking for them, matching them to
outfits, and then
planning all the
shoots as well.
I'm usually
planning shoots and all of my blog
outfits in my office, so it can get a little messy.
I had grand
plans to get outside to snap some
outfit pictures, but it was a smidge too dark and way too cold so it had to be indoor
shots!
The latter will likely take you 2 - 3x the amount of time to
plan, style and
shoot as a regular
outfit post would.
I had originally
planned to
shoot two different
outfits, but thankfully we were both on the same page that that was not happening.
Katie and I had
planned on
shooting several more
outfits, but it was just so cold that we had to quit mid-way through!
It's a flat lay because I dedicated this weekend to family time, so I didn't
plan a photo
shoot, but you can bet you'll be seeing this gorgeous
outfit in an
outfit post in the very near future!
From getting things ready around our place to
shoot more of it, to
shooting for a few hours yesterday, to working on blog posts and
outfit planning, and working on a report for my job..
I'm not 100 % sure but I believe Amber and Cara either have photographers or their husbands no longer work and they just spend their days
planning content and
outfits and my guess is they do the same thing with multiple
outfits in a
shoot.

As you can imagine, I take full advantage of Perfect Autumn Days when it comes to
