see, if you have either American Executive
Platinum or United Premier / 1K
status (or similar
status with another airline), you can match to Delta
Platinum.
As you can
see in the chart above, you can receive a spend waiver for Premier Silver, Premier Gold, and Premier
Platinum elite
status... but not Premier 1K.
Executive
Platinum is the only American Airlines
status that gives fee waivers on same - day flight changes and award ticket changes, which is a courtesy commonly
seen at much lower tier
status among competitors.

If you're an infrequent visit to Hilton properties you're unlikely to have a Hilton co-branded card that offers Gold
status and at $ 550 / year it's not a certainty that you'll have an Amex

I have
Platinum status in Starwoods loyalty program courtesy of my Marriott
Platinum status but I have to admit to not
seeing the big deal with Starwood in general.
I love to plan in advance and that's served me well for AAdvantage upgrades — I have Executive

Platinum status holder I will still have priority over
Platinum Pro,

status holders but my propensity for spending as little as I can will almost certainly
see me towards the bottom of my

see in the app that adjoining rooms had been reserved for us and, more importantly, that we had been upgraded to Executive rooms with lounge access (I have Hilton Gold
status courtesy of my Amex

A little over a week ago, just like over 10,000 other people, I contacted Hyatt to
see if they would match my top - tier Marriott
Platinum status to Hyatt Diamond
status and, just like most of the other applicants, I had to wait to
see what the rely would be.
I stayed at the Grosvenor House Hotel a few years ago and enjoyed its location near the Dubai Marina so, now that award nights can be booked there for as little as 12,000 points per night, I can definitely
see myself returning — that»; s pretty good value... especially if you have SPG
Platinum status.
I've very close to lifetime Gold
status with Marriott and it won't take me too much longer to earn lifetime
Platinum status so I'm very keen not to
see those disappear into thin air.
Let's
see how this would work out with
Platinum status at a value of.83 cents per point for each Marriott Rewards point.
You have to be 1K (maybe
Platinum status will work, too), but it's a heck of a lot better than the measly $ 95 credit that you've
seen advertised most places.
I
see that Royal Caribbean plans to offer complimentary cruises to «qualifying»
Platinum and NOIR cardholders (whatever «qualifying» means) but is there any news on a reciprocal
status match?
With new benefits added, we're going to
see how Starwood Preferred Guest
Platinum status compares.
In terms of ongoing value, most people would find the
Platinum cards more worthwhile since they offer the opportunity to spend towards elite
status (
