as powdered cellulose and potato starch as well as pea fiber and alfalfa meal.
Hypoallergenic prescription foods are also very starchy, making them likely to aggravate allergies; they use low quality oils that easily become rancid; and they contain fillers
like powdered cellulose — which is basically sawdust.
We do not recommend this food for weight control for large and giant breed dogs because of the pea bran meal and
powdered cellulose in the food.
While powdered cellulose is likely used in this food as part of the «proprietary fiber matrix,» that doesn't mean that cellulose is effective for dental care in other pet foods.
