ball that you see everyone except Sanchez keeps jogging on the field instead of
pressing and marking
out opponents....
i still hold the opinion the striker we use is dependent on the opposition we play, for all the brilliance of Alex he has been shut
out in several games by
pressing arsenal and letting us having to resort to long
balls which he fails to get on to, if teams stops arsenal build up, they stop arsenal with sanchez as the forward, however with both Alex and Giroud on the field we have the opportunity to switch styles without making changes.
@brada — thanks.i thought i was insane, just thinking that thought of we missing giroud.you know arsenal believes in the fluid system of passing the
ball and keeping possession but when we play a team that
presses well and close down space, passing
out from the back becomes difficult (for some reason, i du n no our passing has not been as fluid as the era of FAB, NASIRI, SONG ETC).

ball possession,
pressing more when we don't have the
ball and not let ourselves exposed.
The reason why We struggle against teams that
presses is because mertesacker cant do a Pique, koscieny sometimes do got caught

ball out from defense and lauching attacks from his position, having Gabriel beside him will neutralise the threat coming from teams that
presses because Gabriel too is comfortable on the
ball unlike the immobile Rhino per.
