B.C. Minister of Finance Mike de Jong also announced that, starting in June, the
provincial government will begin collecting citizenship data of
real estate owners through the Property Transfer Tax
form.
Council composition was a major concern raised by
real estate brokers and agents across the province, and
formed part of the public submission BCREA made to the
provincial government.
