The entire Bushwick has been
working their ass off to showcase the best of what they have in store, which means endless rehearsals, hours of
art hanging, clean up of their studios so that they can actually invite

work will be included in the forthcoming Blackwell Companion to
Public Art, and his second book, Life and Death on the Bluffs, was recently published by Green Gallery

public manifestation of

He will soon publish Locating the Producers: Durational Approaches to
Public Art with Valiz, Amsterdam, in April 2011, and is
working on authoring a book with MIT
Press titled The Culture of Curating, Curating Culture (s) to be published in 2012.
While the history of
art is punctuated with epic painting projects by men — from Giotto to Michelangelo to Diego Rivera — the director of SFMoMA, Neal Benezra, said he was «hard -
pressed to think of another woman painter
working at this scale in a
public place.»
