MCC - SF also strives to educate people outside the gay and lesbian community about AIDS, through letter - writing campaigns,

The
workshop also functioned as a moment of collective creation for a
public presentation that occurred at 6 pm that evening.
As part of the residency, the artist will be required to offer a
public exhibition, performance, or
presentation of the work, as well as an artist talk or
workshop related to the project.
Projects include
workshops, seminars, discussions, exhibitions, and
presentations that contribute to the formation of artists and the general
public through high quality proposals coming from visual arts, photography, film, dance, and performance.
The insights from this collaboration will culminate in a
public presentation curated by Mashburn at the CUE Foundation in February 2018; in which objects used in the
workshops will be on display alongside process documentation and youth - authored interpretation.
