I wanted to share that I substituted
pure maple syrup for the
honey and used a blender to mix since I don't own a food processor.
The recipe for a huge bowl is: 1 spoon of
pure termeric powder (yellow - brownish spice), two spoons of
pure honey, two spoons of all natural yogurt (any will
do), 2 spoons of brown rice powder, half of a lemon, and you could add 1 egg white but the egg white isn't in the original recipe.
For this reason I didn't add any additional sweeteners to this, but if you want a sweeter version you can always use alternative sweeteners (which aren't as harsh on the body as refined sugar) and add a touch of
pure maple syrup to the lemon coconut whipped cream or drizzle the parfait with
honey.
I followed the recipe pretty closely, though I didn't have agave nectar (and had just run out of
honey) so I used 100 %
pure maple syrup instead.
I didn't use maple syrup this time around, as it was unavailable at the time, but I
did use
pure raw
honey.

With all the fruit and peanut butter I don't feel the need to add any sweetener but if you
do go ahead and drizzle a little agave,
honey or
pure maple syrup (or whatever sweetener you like).
You could
do 3/4 cup
pure maple syrup or
honey or you could
do a combo.
However, we
do not any typem of sweeteners except for raw, 100 %
pure honey from our area.
Since I don't love
pure carrot juice, I doctor it up with ginger, turmeric, lemon and
honey, which makes it a true remedy and a preventative for winter colds and flu.
My one question is we don't use granulated sugar of any kind
do you think that by using 1/3 c of agava syrup or 1/2 cup
pure raw
honey would need any changes to the recipe as these are the only sweeteners that are in my home.
obviously these people have no idea about
honey they have probably only eaten the crap they sell at the grocery store that is so refined it doesn't have real flavor or any benefits... if you buy
pure local
honey it is good for you....
That said, if you're not
doing a Whole30 and this just isn't the right blend for you, feel free to add a few drops of vanilla extract, or a small drizzle of
pure maple syrup,
honey, or agave to either the chia pudding or the fruit puree as desired.
I used

honey and I think it had mightve something to
do with my crumbly dough

Just wondering but if
honey has been created without the bulk of fibre doesn't this mean that it is possibly one of the few times that the
pure carbohydrate it provides is of benefit for us?

pure organic virgin coconut oil which my wife made from coconut plus
honey and am thinking of adding a bit of organic tumeric powder.

honey does in fact have slightly higher antioxidant effects than
pure sugar.
If you don't like bananas as a sweetener, go with 1 tablespoon of a natural sweetener like
honey or
pure maple syrup
