For the flour, can I use all All -
Purpose flour rather than the wheat?
I made these exactly according to the directions, with the following two exceptions:
- I used all - purpose flour rather than pastry flour.
Last tip - if you're not already doing so, be sure you're using King Arthur Flour All -
Purpose Flour rather than another brand.
Not exact matches
If you'd
rather use all -
purpose flour, real butter, and brown sugar, then by all means go ahead.
Some people may prefer to use a bread
flour rather than an all -
purpose flour.
I recommend that you have a look at my gluten free
flour blend page and decide upon an all
purpose gluten free
flour blend,
rather than a pancake
flour, which is much more limited.
I found the dough to be very wet and sticky even after I added all the
flour (I used all -
purpose rather than bread
flour, don't know if that made a difference).
I used your all
purpose flour, weighed
rather than measured the
flour, and made the dough in the bread machine.
Although
rather than using all
purpose flour I justices more spelt
flour and ground flaxseed.
