Pyre «s voice acting, story, and characters are also
just so, so full of humor.
It's been a few days since I finished
Pyre and while I'm still not sure that it's my game of the year for sure, it definitely ranks extremely highly, not
just for this year, but out of any of the games I've ever played.
Pyre deserves a spot on this list because of
just how pretty the game is, but don't let that distract you from the incredible gameplay and story the latest from Supergiant presents.
For
just a quick cursory reminder some of 2017's most major mainstream and indie titles include Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Night in the Woods, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, NieR: Automata, Persona 5, Prey, Mages of Mystralia, Tekken 7, Splatoon 2,
Pyre, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Observer, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Tacoma, Steamworld Dig 2, Cuphead, Super Mario Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Origin.
It's an addition that doesn't have to be there to make
Pyre an incredible experience, but I certainly welcome the ability to
just dive and and play some Rites anytime I want to.
In a year where we have been spoilt with quality indie titles including Rime,
Pyre and Little Nightmares, I
just can't hold Unravel in quite as high statue as those games.

Pyre is, like all of their prior games,
just sumptuous.
Furthermore, we have games merging sports mechanics with RPG progression and storytelling, as we saw
just recently in
Pyre and Golf Story.

Pyre is a very good game released by Supergiant Games, and over the course of playing wizard football (you should really
