not keep it for any reason.
Something I find myself repeating over and over again in the attempt to educate prospective GD buyers when they contact me for assistance is that even though they are
not interested in showing in conformation; that they should still purchase from a reputable /
quality Breeder for the majority of the
pups in any given litter; will be pet marked (too much white for example) yet they have been bred for temperament, health, conformation, longevity and the Breeder is
not only out there perserving the GD Breed that we love so much; yet they are also improving on their own lines with each generation bred.
So just because you don't have an open space to play in, doesn't mean you can't have
quality playtime with your
pup!
Unless there is a visible disqualification or the puppy visibly will
not be showing potential, the younger the
pup the harder it is to determine show
quality.
I wasn't overly thrilled about it because it doesn't have the capability of preventing the disease from occurring (but is supposed to reduce the severity of it once contracted), but didn't have a choice if I wanted
quality care for the
pups while I was out of town.
Homemade dog food isn't about throwing together various ingredients that you think are healthy; it's about creating a balanced diet for your
pup using
quality ingredients.
I will
not classify
pups I think will goover 15 pounds as show
quality.
Remember THE AKC is just a registering organization.AKC registration papers do
not guarantee
quality, only that the
pups parents were also registered.It is up to you as a consumer to do your «homework» when deciding where to get your puppy!
