Alyssa, This morning I made my current favorite
breakfast oatmeal with 50 %
quinoa flakes and 50 % quick oats (I added canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and topped with bananas and pecans)-- It turned out great in the microwave — I didn't have any coconut flour - plan to get some soon — but just with the added
quinoa it is now lunch time and I am still not hungry!
I've had success stirring a spoonful or two into
oatmeal,
breakfast quinoa and muffins.

quinoa in some sort of
breakfast recipe, particularly since I'm not a huge fan of regular
oatmeal (but bring on the baked
oatmeal any day of the week!)

Whatever it is, here are the Instagram
breakfasts I'm loving this week — from smoothie bowls and
oatmeal to an occasional
quinoa bowl, waffles and of course, pancakes (Tuesday was pancake day after all).
For
breakfast (
oatmeal jars, farina, veggie omelette); 3 roasted / grilled / broiled / baked fish or chicken; 3 starches (rice /
quinoa / sweet potatoes); 3 veggies (baby spinach, tuscan kale, 3 other veggies); snack (green fruit smoothie, fruit, granola); extra protein (crockpot beans, lentils, whey protein).
Hearty, meatless
breakfast options may include banana and seed granola bars, sprouted buckwheat granola,
breakfast quinoa, cinnamon
oatmeal porridge, or a green smoothie.
Or for
breakfast, I made
oatmeal and added
quinoa into that.
By combining the two in this
