That became obvious in the comments made online and by email in response to my July
REM column where I offered my opinion that there are too many Realtors.
All this rhetoric is prompted by last month's
REM column by Michel Friedman, Give a person a fish, in which he suggested part - time agents must disclose to their buyers and sellers their employment status.

REM, I turn 75 this month.

column, first appearing in

But sadly for
REM, Cooke moves on to a new career and it's his last
column.
We managed to chat a bit, have him sign a copy of his 2006 autobiography, AND — here's where
REM comes in — I was able to give him a copy of that
column I had written.
After the 2004 federal election I got off my pedestal and mixed it up with my readers in the August 2004
column of
REM.
The day before you leave for a one - week holiday is not the time to look at
REM's

Between my responsibilities as conference m / c I spoke to a lot of
REM readers, including one who approached me to say he enjoyed most
columns but thought I should update my photo.
Due to
REM's deadlines, I'm writing this
column on Chinese New Year — Gung hay fat choy — the year of the rabbit.
Over the years, Albert has been on a number of Toronto Real Estate Board and Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) committees, including Ethics, Arbitration, MLS Rules and Regulations, Education and Complaints and Discipline — but it was here at
REM that he developed a niche in the form of a popular
column called From My Desk As I See It.
Stan's
columns became a mainstay in
REM, provoking thought and providing insight for many years in these pages.
A recent
column prompted this email: «I have enjoyed every one of your articles in
REM and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your work.
RECO has indicated to
REM that «there is nothing inaccurate» in Vito's
column.
And finally, «I got at least three or four good chuckles from your December
column in
REM.
The most frequent question I'm asked about writing for
REM is the source of the monthly
columns.
Stan Albert, wise sage on other pages in
