Your goal from now on is not only to protect and take care of your little

Of course, just because a behavior is normal or natural in one situation, that doesn't mean it's acceptable in another, and little
Rascal has to
learn that biting / nipping humans is a no - no.
During the first two months of his life, your little
Rascal will
learn everything he needs to know about being a dog in the canine world....
Either way, your little
Rascal needs to
learn that his crate is a place where he spends time with his special toys or takes a nap, and that you always come back for him.
Interaction with his brothers and sisters will also help him
learn other valuable lessons, and by the time he leaves the safety of his very first family many of
Rascal's behaviors and attitudes (towards both dogs and humans) will already have been established.
This is when your little
Rascal's brain is at it's most receptive to new experiences and lessons, and his capacity for
learning is at it's peak.
If he's taken away from his canine family too early (before 8 weeks)
Rascal won't get a chance to
learn all these lessons properly and his new human family will have to try to play catch - up later on.
This month your little
Rascal needs to start
learning how to live with a human family and what's expected of him in a world he knows very little about.
Learn how to give a «correction with a connection» so
Rascal knows his mistake and not to repeat it.
Whooping crane chicks have definite personalities; chick L10 was shy but blossomed into a
rascal, and chick L8 had an early tendency toward being a bit of a bully, but eventually
learned to get along with his peers.
