Xenoblade Chronicles» interface is also a little worse for wear: Menus or screens either seem unsuited for
reading on a smaller display or are far blurrier and unappealing than they really should've been.
Of course,
reading on a small display isn't as comfortable as doing it on a tablet.
I find reading is much preferable on a smaller device, not just because it is lighter to hold, but because it is more comfortable to
read on a smaller display.
Not exact matches
Make sure your text is easy to
read, even at the
smallest display size of your thumbnail
on YouTube, and that the image is
on the left and text is
on the right.

The good news is that Amazon delivers a good
reading experience

This often makes
reading PDFs

on the device is currently
reading 26 % — I like being able to get detailed information about the battery status and quick access to the most commonly used settings by tapping the

Current electronic
reading devices feature
small displays that are based
on fragile glass screens that negatively impact their bulk, durability and weight.
Maybe a contributing factor is that the
small font and
display on just 2/3 of the page makes it hard to
read.
The comedy from annoying the «programmer» is fun, but the text box he writes in uses a notably
small font that is hard to
read even
on the Vita's

I tested Remote Play
on the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 +, and also
on the Z3 Compact, and found that the larger screens of the Z3 and Z3 + worked better, as they
displayed full 1080p high definition, and made text and icons that have originally been designed for much larger
displays, slightly easier to
read than
on the Z3 Compact's
smaller display.
The Apple Watch does a great job
displaying important information at a glance, but not everyone is going to have an easy time
reading text
on its tiny screen — especially if you have the
smaller 38 mm model.
Small text positioned beneath icons is pretty sharp and easy to
read, and images look pretty sharp
on the
display.
Lenovo has also packed the tablet with a smart sidebar option which you can enable in settings, and if turned
on you can drag your finger inward from the edge of the screen to reveal a
small panel with varied options for audio modes like movies, games, or music, and
display modes like vibrant, standard or
reading.
If you're more business focussed then Polaris Office also sits
on the Desire C, allowing you to
read Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents, although once again ease of use is hampered by the
smaller display on this budget HTC handset.
Whether you find the text
on your screen too
small to
read or you want to shrink it in hopes of fitting more content
on the
display at once, you can tweak the font size to make that happen.
Information is
displayed on the Vivofit's
small color
display, which we found easy to see under bright lighting, though somewhat difficult to
read in dimmer light.
Alternative: Iowan Old Style is similar, stylistically, but with its higher x-height, it is more easily
read on screens and
small displays.
Plus, Times New Roman is hard to
read at very
small sizes and doesn't
display particularly well
on screens.
