The drive, which began
in 1994 with a handful of Vancouver
Realtors collecting a few hundred bags, now includes participating real estate
offices from Whistler to Hope, plus extensive
public and corporate support.

offices rolled into one, that manages all the
Realtors in the province where they are licensed and gives them the support they need, along with hiring one CEO that lives and breathes real estate 24/7 to improve the image of the

in control of their own individual business, and does everything possible to see that the
public understands that
Realtors truly are professional salespeople.»
Funded by a NAR Board of Directors vote
in May out of the $ 40 dues increase, the initiative aims to enable
REALTOR ® associations to enhance their community involvement, help elect
REALTOR ® champions to
public office at all levels of government, and promote issues that protect and improve
REALTOR ®
public policy.

public persists
in calling all
Realtors, regardless of which type of
office they work
in and regardless of what type of license they have, real estate agents.
Supporting a candidate for
public office who supports
REALTOR ® issues provides associations the opportunity to involve their members
in community efforts at a whole new level.
PED, I'm not sure what to infer from you reply but would I be correct
in thinking that you believe the information concerning my property not be available
in the way that Viewpoint makes it available but be available from
Realtors and through
public sources such as land registry
offices.
