Not exact matches
Take out a
red letter edition of the Bible (
words of Jesus in
red) and see what Jesus had to say while observing how Jesus walked through this life.
my greatest concern is this «new teaching» on cussing is that I don't see it throughout the life, ministry or teachings of Jesus or any of the disciples or really any man God uses in the
word... What I do hear Him say is that we will be «judged by every careless
word» and that's not legalism, that's
red letter.
A friendly suggestion: get a
red letter edition of the Bible, you know, the one where the
words of Jesus are highlighted in
red, tear out all such pages, study them and throw the rest of the Bible away.
Turned out that was what is called the
red letter addition where Jesus
words are in
red.
In big, bold, burning,
red letters across the top it read: «GOD HATES...» and then scattered around the rest of the board were groups of people that God hates: liars, cheaters, atheists, drunks, adulterers, and gays (he used a different
word, which I won't include here).
If you are interested in knowing what Jesus said, find a «
red -
letter» NT, which allows one to easily see what His
words actually were.
I believe in the inerrancy of the autographs (original documents), many people and denominations may hold up only the
words in
red, or only the Pauline
letters and even more hold up the OT law as for Christians today.
