In the bedroom we: ripped up the nasty carpet and replaced with laminate hardwood replaced the closet doors obviously, we painted redid the inside of the closet replaced the door hardware added a ceiling fan and an a / c unit
replaced the baseboard heater
So my innocent suggestion of a coat of paint has resulted in my midwestern husband tearing the room apart, retexturing the ceiling,
replacing the baseboards, planing the window casing, painting the ceiling, and relaying the carpet pad.
I am in the process of
replacing our baseboards and I was wondering what you have used in your living room?
They said I'd have to
replace baseboard.
It came to me in the middle of the night, why I didn't need to
replace my baseboard, I could just repurpose it if I trimmed it!
To keep this project simple and easy, we left our baseboards as is; but I know some people
replace their baseboards to match up with their batten.
When you replaced all the trim around the doors, I assume you also
replaced your baseboards.
Thursday — create custom art work Friday — build headboard Saturday — finish the headboard and
replace the baseboards Sunday — change the valance (again) and update all the electrical plugs and light switch Monday — hang art & fill the room with fun treasures Tuesday — photograph Wednesday — edit photos and write post for late night reveal!

Perfect post because this is exactly what I'm working on right now —
replacing all the
baseboards in the house.
Some rabbit owners make custom
baseboard protectors by using pieces of wood with hinges that stand up to block the boards, wire and plastic storage cube pieces that snap together and lean up against the wall, short pieces of wooden fence pickets individually attached with removable adhesive pieces (i.e. Command ™ strips) so they can be
replaced as needed, and other creative protective options.
As I write this, we have currently painted the entire interior,
replaced the flooring in every room besides the kitchen and the master bath, painted and installed new
baseboard, patched countless holes, and upgraded the dishwasher and the thermostat.
First on our list was
replacing the rest of the
baseboards and door trim on the first floor, in the kitchen and dining room.
The missing
baseboard should be
replaced too.
Don't remove
baseboards unless you're
replacing them.
Not really a big deal, which will be even less of a big deal when we
replace the ugly wood
baseboards with crisp white ones.

replaced the toilet and vanity and re-attached the

In order to have an unified flooring surface throughout the house we are putting new flooring on top of the exiting one, and also the
