It's almost exclusively related to work issues, and the recent realization that I have to spend a solid two weeks
reviewing the first
page proofs of my book, and while there will most definitely be vacations (note the plural!)

There's been a lot of scandal about the sock puppet
reviews but
reviews are still critical because they give your sales
page social
proof and they feed into the book site algorithms.
But before I download even a free book, I check
page numbering to rule out novellas and read
reviews to see if anything rules out this book, i.e. bad
proof - reading / editing, poor grammar, predictable plots.

On October 4, 2017, the Federal Circuit issued a lengthy decision in Aqua Products v. Matal, spanning five opinions and 148
pages, which addressed the proper allocation of the burden of
proof when amended claims are offered during inter partes
review proceedings («IPRs»).
