If I wanted to make your
waffles low carb, could I substitute the
rice flours for coconut or almond
flours?
One shop started bringing in GF pancake,
waffle, muffin and brownie mixes but one box of mix costs more than a 500g of fine
rice flour.
I've never tried
waffles with brown
rice flour, but I'm so curious now.
FODMAP FRIENDLY
WAFFLES: — 2 cups
rice milk — 2 cups gluten free
flour — 1 tsp baking powder — 1 egg — dash of stevia Mix all ingredients together by hand or in blender, adding water if mixture is too think.
To make these
waffles gluten free, I used brown
rice flour.
Since I love
rice and consider it one of most delicious and healthy ingredients around (most of my cakes,
waffles, pancakes, pies... are made with brown
rice flour:) I decide to try with cooked wholegrain
rice!
