Our
park adventures include a five year old, twin three year olds and a soon to be one year old... And plenty of nasty
parks near
roads with no fences, 15 feet tall open play structures, no bathrooms, retention walls that border
rocky cliffs or ponds and the occasional «Oooh Look Mama, balloon!!»
When you're in Zion National
Park, there is a
road that takes a steep, hairpin - riddled shortcut up to the top of the
rocky platform and you can drive from there through farmland and forest to Bryce Canyon.
Deeper into the
park is a large
rocky outcrop with a raised lookout on top where we were able to both take in the setting sun and look out below for elephant herds, one of which which we luckily spotted further off down the
road.
The
road between the
park and the popular weekend town is so full of
rocky outcrops, you'll be stopping every five minutes to take photographs.
In Arikok National
Park, drive on dirt
roads through desert terrain where cacti grow wild, and explore the
rocky, volcanic coastline.
The pool is situated inside the Arikok National
Park, a series of winding
rocky roads and natural landmarks that comprise nearly 20 percent of the small island.
Dotted along the
road are designated
parking places opposite foot trails leading to
rocky fishing spots or beautiful sandy coves.
