rugby is quickly growing across the country, some new faces are being introduced to the USA
Rugby National Teams, two of those new faces are recent graduates of
Rugby NorCal.
Lately the
NorCal Rugby mantra is if you want to play better football, learn
rugby.
Day two saw some great
rugby from everyone involved and saw wins for all
NorCal teams advancing GB and Jesuit to their respective Finals, while NB and Sierra would face each other for 5th place in the Tier 2 bracket.
And it can be the home base of one lucky
NorCal rugby player and coach this coming spring and summer.
With our continued commitment to enhancing the
rugby experience for our members through additional coach and referee education, advanced skill sessions for players, and partnering with local
rugby academies who can help further develop our players and coaches, it is clear that
Rugby NorCal will continue to produce some of the country's best
rugby players and future Eagles for years to come.
Youth
Rugby in particular in Northern California is a force to be reckoned with, and we hope to give you insight into the game and the member clubs of
Rugby NorCal, the governing body for youth
rugby here in Northern California, in hopes that you might just be enticed to attend an event, or sign your child or yourself up at a local club.
Rugby NorCal is committed to making
rugby fun, safe and available to every young athlete in Northern California.
So it's with great anticipation that the Sacramento Valley
Rugby Foundation and
Rugby NorCal will kick off the high school
rugby season by hosting the 33rd Annual Sacramento Kick - Off Tournament at Cordova High on Jan. 21 - 22.

Rugby NorCal has begun to lay the groundwork in creating Rookie
Rugby leagues by holding a Rookie
Rugby Course Leader Training session, which took place in Vacaville and included administrators from local
rugby clubs, Boys and Girls Clubs and sports facilities.
