If you decide to go with a darker hardware I have had a lot of success with
Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze spray paint.

So I decided to update all of it with a little
spray paint —

I took the print out of the black frame and
spray painted it with
Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze primer and
paint.
