Today will be a week that I've had with Ryse and last night I found myself perusing the DLC available and doing Google searches for future map and mode releases.

To that I say, to achieve that visual quality (that's not even better than pc) pretty much all the new games except for non gpu / cpu intensive game types like racing games (forza 5) you're dropping to locked frame rates of 30 (dead rising 3, RYSE, Assassin's Creed 4) which the majority of those don't even give you 30 like they say but more like 26 the majority of the time but can dip as low as 16 fps for more than just a few seconds... This idea that it takes developers time to get «used» to the systems and optimizing it over the years is complete and utter bullshit, that's not how development works.

Personally I'll take Killzone over Ryse, Knack over anything Kinect, and all those F2P MMOs over killer instinct and Forza, the only one I would like to play is Dead Rising 3, but even that one does nt merit a $ 500 purchase.

When you compare the marketing behind Ryse, and the name of Deadrising 3 and Forza against Killzone and Knack this doesn't come as a huge surprise.

The Xbox One did have its fair share of poor titles, such as Ryse: Son of Rome, another pretty title with a hollow gameplay center and Crimson Dragon, the less said about the title the better.
