IF the PS3 or X360 had 6 or 8 GB of Ram in them you could be playing Killzone SF or Bloodborne or
Ryse or Forza 5/6 or Driveclub
on them too... the only thing that held back those 2 were available RAM, if anything we've gone backwards... the PS3 had a PS2 built into it for backward compatibility, it WAS a full Linux system, the X360 had BC emulated as well... now, the new systems are stripped down, everything removed and we are being charged for old games... except MS has listened to fans and is changing course, but it seems SONY is now nickel and dimeing gamers for everything.

on Xbox One.
You do realize games like
Ryse / DR3 / Forza 5 all sold extremely well
on X1.
Now, make no mistake about it;
Ryse is by no means a masterpiece, but what was a sub par gaming experience for many, morphed into something entirely different for me based
on my time with it.

Ryse's metacritic score is 60 based
on critic scores.
Hanno Lemke is the General Manager at Black Tusk, having previously run oversight
on several of Microsoft's big games, including
Ryse, the Fable series, Gears of War and Forza.
Couple that with
Ryse receiving mixed reviews with a 64
on Metacritic and then the idea of Microsoft funding a sequel to a game that wasn't received all to well of an IP they wouldn't even own makes absolutely no sense, unlike the case with Sony funding Street Fighter V's development or Nintendo funding Bayonetta 2's development.

on board, Microsoft wanted to buy the IP entirely, Crytek didn't want to, Microsoft said well no money then, Crytek said well no

I keep getting pooped
on around here for comparing it to Uncharted 1, instead of
Ryse like others, but I just see so many more similarities there.
Sony spent 2011 & 2012 making games for the PS3... so they're a year behind MS who dropped the 360 like a rock and focused
on exclusives for next gen.
Ryse, DR3, and Sunset Overdrive were all 360 games at one point.
