In my classroom, I don't have to serve the needs of someone on an
SCD diet, but I do like to share the process with families and make it more accessible to them,
so we make it in the crock pot since most families have one or know where to get one.
Yes, that is probably one of the big reasons why the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (

so I used 5 TBS alltogether), added some lemon extract as well and 4 TBS of coconut flour instead of arrowroot to make it

I'm don't have any experience or knowledge about the
SCD protocol, but Kim (see comment below) is trying it with liquid monk fruit extract,
so that may work?

So, paradoxically, you would not want to eat a
SCD or Low - FODMAP (or similar) diet while on antibiotics / antimicrobials
So it's back to the squash, beetroots and carrots ie GAPS /

So, when I finally decided to look into the

so time - consuming at first because you have to make everything from scratch but it has honestly brought our family much closer together.
The Specific Carbohydrate Diet (
SCD) allows lactose - free dairy only
so the following are allowable: homemade 24 - hour
SCD yoghurt, butter and certain cheeses.
Naturally sweetened
so free of refined sugar this is also Paleo and suitable for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (
SCD).
For example, the
SCD yogurt is prepped
so that it is lactose - free, and you can use grass - fed milk to bump up CLA for BAM, anti-cancer and immune boost, and A2 casein milk can be used to reduce sensitivities.
