I'll say this, If Sega would've tried doing that on the Genesis by implementing hardware or
game cart upgrades that increased the console's capabilities to match those of Nintendo's
SNES» (almost like how it was with NES, but, I doubt they did, since they didn't think about that through the console's lifespan), it would have greatly wowed Classic Sonic fans.
