scan it in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the animal will come live in your village - will bring its own furniture, in its camping car - the six cards will have furniture is based on a famous Sanrio character: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Little Twin Stars, My Melody, Keroppi, and Cinnamoroll - the seals included in the packs feature a special illustration with a famous Animal Crossing character and one of the Sanrio characters - Isabelle x Hello Kitty, Timmy & Tommy x Little Twin Stars, Mr. Resetti x Pompompurin, Lottie x My Melody, Kapp»n x Keroppi and K. K. Slider x Cinnamoroll - the Sanrio characters will not appear in the game, just the special furniture
Scanning in any
other amiibo that's not listed here will give you 10 Sparklium once a day.
As long as Epona is registered to a stable,
scanning this
amiibo figure causes treasure to drop, just like most of the
other figures (you'll have to wait a day between
scans, of course).
Unlocked by either
scanning Amiibo or beating the 100 Mario Challenge, these change the Super Mario Bros 1 version of Mario into various characters from
other Nintendo games.
Your
other vanilla
amiibo will work as well, which can be
scanned onto the Gamepad to unlock special color schemes for your Yoshi.
On the better side, almost all of the
other Amiibo figures can be
scanned into the game, unlocking a Yarn Yoshi version based on that character.
The week was filled with
other interesting announcements, including the reveal of Super Mario Cereal from Kellogg's that will include
amiibo functionality with Super Mario Odyssey, allowing you to
scan the box and obtain coins or a heart.
