Campaign is that it doesn't have any courage and so focuses more on a sappy redemption
story where, in the Apatow
school, what's been pleasantly ugly suddenly becomes unpleasantly saccharine.
The work is broad ranging from a
school beginning this work through a
campaign aimed at sharing
stories of self to another
school designing curriculum that fosters language around race to elementary - aged students to another
school struggling with how to engage parents of color.
Everyone with a stake in education is encouraged to support this
campaign by sharing why they #LovePublicEducation on social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, et al.); by submitting a
story that details the importance of public education, here; by adopting a resolution in support of public education in your own

A May 2011 NEA profile bestowed the title «volunteer extraordinaire» on Jacobs and remains one of the most popular
stories on the Priority
Schools Campaign web site.
Because
school segregation is as much a
story of failed public policy as it is one of white / privileged families thwarting it, our hearts - and - minds
campaign offers a new model for integration in which this undertaking falls not on the backs of marginalized communities, but on white and / or privileged families who care about equity.
