I think some of the most successful
blogs that I see from authors are usually multi-contributor
blogs, where you see like five or six thriller authors or romance authors or
science fiction authors get together, and that helps reduce a little bit of the burden and the pressure because you're trading off blogging responsibilities, but you're also bringing together all of the different audiences you have, and there's a lot of good cross-pollination there.
Because of that, the only eBook I now have listed as free is Function: L1VE, a 9,000 word
science fiction novelette that turned out to be too long to publish on my
blog.
The #HoldOnToTheLight
blog campaign was founded in September of 2016 to raise awareness about treatments for anxiety, depression, suicide, domestic violence, PTSD, bullying awareness, and other mental health issues amongst the
science fiction and fantasy authors and fans community.

Most people don't write well, or hate to write or are just to busy and / or distracted to take the time to write business letters, instruction manuals, a truly good novel, copy that gets results, news stories fake or otherwise, tech manuals, spec sheets, non-
fiction books on any subject, erotica,
science fiction stories and books,
science article, magazine articles and
blog posts by the millions.
Putting the
Science in
Fiction will contain 60 articles from 40 expert contributors, including a lot of unique content that's not available on the
blog.
But when I first started, «Oh, yeah,» because the thing was, I was looking for
blogs to promote the
science fiction, and that's not easy to find.

Tor.com may be the website of one of
science fiction's biggest publishers, but their
blog has tried to promote good books regardless of the publisher.
I would be far more interested in seeing a list that breaks down mystery, romance,
science fiction genres — but even then it could get so niche market driven that that the list becomes less meaningful to me as a reader (though we could have as much fun as this Melville House
blog post in coming up with our own possible lists) So what about for you?
