Featuring a passel of famous UK faces and some well - orchestrated stunts that include a cool bicycle chase (I'm left wondering who gets more
screen time — Alex Pettyfer or his stunt double), this film will likely leave its
intended audience pleased.
Granted, the
intended audience of contemporary youth for American Pie will be largely unfamiliar with most of the garbage which splashed across the
screens in the 1980s and will find this movie is something original, especially compared to similar films that are watered down once the PG - 13 rating became the norm for teen fare.
In addition to this, there's an extreme amount of violence, as blood flies and stains itself on the
screen — which, combined with the English voice acting, makes it seem like Project Altered Beast was
intended for a Western
audience.
While the
intended audience is library staff, I've had a look at my advance copy of the presentation
screens and think this would be of interest to a wider
audience.
