The
screenshots and video below offer our first look into Kaos Studios» second
game under THQ, Homefront, and as someone who liked their previous
game, Frontlines: Fuel
of War, I have to say it's hard to
really say anything much about them at this point.
Screenshots taken from unspecified uber - hardware doesn't
really tell us what this
game will realistically look like for 95 %
of gamers.
Really, demos (along with
screenshots and videos
of the
game and a good description) are the best way to market
games, it allows the end user to experience enough
of the
game to decide whether or not the end user wants to purchase the
game.

After a cool teaser video and a load
of screenshots, Konami's Krazy Kart Racing [App Store] has been high on my list
of games I
really wanted to play.
While it doesn't
really show much gameplay, there's a ton
of screenshots and samples
of the
game's soundtrack.
This obsession with taking cool
screenshots started with inFAMOUS: Second Son, a gorgeous open world action
game that
really propelled the early days
of the PlayStation 4.
When I first got into LaserActive stuff, this was one
of the first titles I
really wanted to play, simply because the
screenshots made it look beautiful, but sadly, when I finally did get to play it years later, I was sorely disappointed by the
game's actual gameplay.
Of course, as happy as I am to finally see these
games released in beautiful HD (and if you look at the
screenshots, you'll quickly see that they
really are doing a great job up - scaling these classics), I suspect that there might be an alternative motive to Capcom's benevolence: I think they want to promote DmC.

A mystifying trailer has already been released, and so have some
screenshots, but now is the first time we've been able to
really see what this
game offers in the way
of gameplay.
I don't
really go to Miiverse looking for gameplay help and I don't
really use it much as a forum to talk about
games; my focus with Miiverse is taking and sharing
screenshots of my
games.
So an article which illustrates its points with relevant in
game screenshots is much more appealing than one that's merely a giant wall
of text with nothing to
really break it up.
